Rely on God

Day 6

Today was a bitter sweet moment for us all. It was our final working day at Centro Escolar. Many were wishing that we could have had more time. Our hearts didn't want this day to end because soon we would be leaving. We were able to accomplish what we had set out to do each day. Painting the frames and outer portions of the school, setting up the footers for the next group, building the frames, reorganizing their entire warehouse, making puppets for each child, purchasing equipment needed for future jobs, and spending time with the children. We can see in their smiles that BLC, made a difference here this week.  This is a place of sanctuary from the troubles this world can bring. A place to call home when they need rest from the burdens they carry. However their life may be outside those doors, when they are in this school, they can see hope. They are free from worries and to enjoy being children. Todd’s devotional reminded us all that we can rely on God. He watches over us in each moment like a parent, in all circumstances. He loved us so much that he gave his only son so that we may be forgiven. As Christian's we can depend on him in all things and at all times. So that we may know his love for us.

 Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
