Day 2

This morning began with breakfast and a devotional in Philippians 2:1-11, Imitating Christ’s Humility. To live the example of love, encouragement, patience, and gratitude set by Jesus.  To join together in mind, spirit, and purpose as servants to his word. The Tingles then gave us a tour of Centro Escolar LifeLink ministry base. It was here that we could touch, taste and see all the amazing work, done by the hands of God (Las manos de Dios). The school has expanded and with each year brings more optimism to the people of Nicaragua. Wayne and Megan explained their vision walk, both the rewards and struggles, that come with this kind of calling. Megan has found strength in God’s word and referred to Jeremiah 29:11,  “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is putting your faith in God and strong Christian fellowship that can make this all possible.

This evening sermon, will be given by Chuck, at Iglesia Principe de Paz. We will be joining fellow Nicaraguans in worship, as well as sharing with them, testimonials of our own faith. This worship service will interweave cultures, people, and different languages; linked by God’s love.
