Overcoming barriers and a day filled with firsts…

1.      Working with rebar

2.      Bringing back to life a 1992 Land Cruiser

3.      Speaking in Spanish

4.      Teaching 46, 3 year old students

5.      Manually digging footings and piers

6.      Learning the game gato y raton

7.      Rebar delivered by a horse and cart

8.      Blisters all over hands

9.      Teaching secret hand shakes

10.   Getting 250 hugs throughout the day

Flexibility and patience are key instruments when overcoming barriers. There are times when we may feel preparation is the only effective way to complete a job. However, sometimes there are situations that we can’t plan for. There are times when God desires us to slow down and rely on him alone. It’s in moments of little control that we walk the closest to Him. We can choose to experience endurance, as he equips us with the tools, to accomplish his works. In His perfect way providing each one of us when necessary what is required. For God is good, He is good all the time! Bendiciones.

 

 

 

 

Romans 12:9-13

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
