Arrived Safely in Matagalpa!
Good morning, again! After 23 hours door to door, we just arrived at our hotel in Matagalpa! It was a long trip with a few challenges, but God got us here safely. The flight from Miami to Managua was delayed nearly an hour. Getting through customs in Managua was nearly a two hour ordeal. In part because of the huge crowd, and in part because the customs agents were a little perturbed with some of the supplies that we packed for Enrich Missions. The ride from Managua to Matagalpa seemed pretty uneventful, but if I'm being honest, I slept through most of it. Speaking of sleep, that seems to be number one on everyone's priority list at the moment. Another update will be posted later tonight after our first day here! Thank you for your continued prayers.

ReplyDeleteCollin, I hope your raccoon is up to date on his shots. Nicaragua is a high risk country for rabies, according to the CDC (https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel/by-country/pettravel-nicaragua).
You all must be exhausted.
